The chemicals and tools that we use
We provide all the chemicals and tools that we use in your home (though you can always ask us to use yours) and we want to use good quality products because with good products you clean faster, better and taking better care of the home you’re cleaning.
All the chemicals we use are from Ecolab (the industry leader) and are high quality products. They are also safe for people, pets and your home.
Chemicals we use
From left to right:
Lemon Lift: Heavy-duty cleaner with bleach; great on mold and mildew stains.
Greaselift: Heavy-duty degreaser (but still safe to use without PPE) that we use for special jobs like oven or grill cleaning.
MAXX Dual Action Floor Cleaner: Daily alkaline floor cleaner that works on most floors.
Bio-Enzymatic Odor Eliminator: Bio-enzymatic product eliminates urine, body, pet and trash odors. This doesn’t only cover the smell, it actually eliminates it. It is also safe to use on fabrics and rugs.
Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant: Disinfectant and multipurpose cleaner for hard surfaces glass and mirrors. This is the product that we use the most, it works so well on every surface; it leaves no streaks on glass, mirrors or countertops and it is a disinfectant (it kills COVID-19 virus in 30 seconds).
Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner and Disinfectant: Alkaline bathroom cleaner and disinfectant. Effective at killing mold and mildew.
No/Low Maintenance Flooring Cleaner and Protector: This floor cleaner cleans the floors while repairing minor scratches in luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floors. (Not in the picture above).
All the equipment:
Glass wiper for windows and shower doors.
Brushes. That we use in the bathrooms to clean the showers and tiles.
A stone thing.
Magic erasers. They really are magical, especially in bathtubs.
Blue sponge for bathrooms and yellow for the kitchen.
A small vacuum with different accessories to use on different surfaces and reach harder to reach places.
A big vacuum for carpets and rugs.

A bag to carry everything.

A step for reaching high cabinets and some high places.

Como Limpiar tu Horno Fácilmente
La limpieza del horno es una de las tareas más difíciles en la cocina. A través de los años he implementado una rutina que hace que sea sencilla y eficiente. Lo puedes hacer con productos naturales como vinagre y bicarbonato de sodio o con desengrasante que vende en cualquier tienda a bajo costo. Yo lo realizo en tres etapas: preparación, remojo y fregado.
En la primera etapa de preparación se reúnen todos los utensilios a usar dependiendo del método que utilices. Para cualquiera de los dos métodos vas a necesitar una esponja, un borrador mágico, trapos de microfibra y una piedra de limpieza.
Preparación. Es importante que dejes remojando el horno con desengrasante la noche anterior. Pero si no quieres usar desengrasante haz una mezcla con bicarbonato de sodio y vinagre. Colócala en una botella con rociador e impregna el horno, después enciéndelo a temperatura de 120 grados centígrados por 4 horas aproximadamente.
Finalmente, el fregado o restregado. En esta etapa la grasa del horno debe estar fácil para retirarla por eso utiliza una esponja y friega las paredes del horno y retira el sucio. Si aún quedan restos de comida que con el tiempo ha quedado pegada puedes usar la piedra en forma circular hasta retirar el sucio pegado difícil de eliminar. Posteriormente usa un borrador mágico y un trapo de microfibra y seca el horno hasta retirar completamente todo el producto y se vea reluciente.
Datos importantes.
1. Existen productos específicos para limpiar el horno, ten la precaución de usar mascara y guantes porque su inhalación tiene consecuencias graves para la salud.
2. No rocíes el producto en la puerta o tapa del horno cerca del vidrio porque si entra en los bordes tendrás que desarmar la puerta para limpiar el vidrio para que no se vea la fea línea que deja la gota del producto que usaste, sea desengrasante, vinagre, agua o limpiador de horno.
